The helper she, the heartner:

Padraic Colum (1881-1972) è uno scrittore irlandese molto attivo nella Gaelic League. Scrive opere teatrali, racconti, anche per bambini, poesie. Vive tra l’Irlanda e gli Stati Uniti, conosce Yeats, Lady Gregory, Joyce. La poesia è una delle 14 che accompagnano la Via Crucis monumentale di Alfeo Faggi, nella chiesa cattolica di St Thomas the Apostle a Chicago.
